The Christmas Donut Tree has blossomed into a cherished custom within my family! Begin by constructing a sturdy base with a Styrofoam cone, then delicately secure delectable bakery donut holes using humble toothpicks. To add a touch of elegance, I personally adore adorning mine with fragrant rosemary sprigs and vibrant bursts of pomegranate arils.
The festive season of Christmas is brimming with delightful culinary customs, and I possess a handful of them that are bound to captivate your taste buds! Enhancing the merriment of any gathering, my sensational Christmas Tree Cheese and Cracker Tray stands as an impeccable choice. A beloved treat cherished by my eldest son, the Peppermint Bark Cookies are an indispensable part of our yearly baking tradition. Furthermore, the effortlessly crafted Chocolate Star Bread is an ideal addition to a splendid holiday brunch.

Since entering matrimony, our Christmas morning tradition has remained unchanged. Cinnamon Pull Aparts, succulent sausage links, and refreshing orange slices grace our festive table. These delectable pull aparts, derived from a cherished recipe passed down by my beloved mother-in-law, hold a special place in my heart.

While browsing through the store, my eyes stumbled upon a captivating magazine cover showcasing a delectable tree crafted entirely out of donuts. In that very moment, an irresistible urge to replicate this edible masterpiece struck me, urging me to bring it to life within the comfort of my own home.
In the heart of our community lies HEB, a treasure trove of delectable donut holes nestled within their exquisite bakery sections. With eager anticipation, I procured the delectable delights of Sour Cream and Powdered Sugar, only to venture further to the closest emporium of artistic wonders, the craft store. Absent of any guiding instructions, my creative spirit took flight, giving birth to a whimsical creation beyond imagination.

Christmas Donut Tree Recipe
Encase the styrofoam cone in two layers of plastic wrap.
Beginning from the bottom of the cone, carefully place a toothpick halfway into the vertical position of the cone.
Carefully insert a donut ball onto the toothpick.
Make sure that the center of the donut aligns with the base of the cone.
Carefully push a toothpick towards the edges of the donut hole, creating a small space to fit the upcoming donut hole.
Add another donut ball onto the toothpick.
Navigate your way around the foundation in a direct path, connecting with the initial void in the donut.
In the following rows, make sure to insert the donut holes in between to assist in filling the spaces.
After you have covered the cone entirely, trim small sections of the rosemary branches.
Position the rosemary in areas where you might need to fill the spaces.
Decorate with pomegranate seeds all over and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
